The following features have been requested/added to C-Master since the 32-bit transport began in October 2014. If a feature is struck out, it has been implemented and tested.

-
Allow log plot (strip log) production in a 32-bit environmentImplemented as a direct file write to the appropriate driver (defined as “Generic”), or by writing a file that can be sent to the printer. May require ADMIN access to the computer to set permissions on the target directory to permit the direct write of the file.-
Implemented using a SPOOL’er program that can write directly to the Generic driver if ADMIN privilege cannot be used (this is the preferred method)
-
Ability to delete a single log or group of logs from the catalog-
When the data coming in has significant problems, eliminate the “damaged logs” by deleting from the Master Catalog of all logs. This is to be done carefully!
-
-
CSV Import/Export of data to/from C-Master for use in other programs-
Import is allowed for both C-Master formatted logs and CSV/Tab delimited data -
Export data in CSV/Tab delimited format -
Ability to perform a “translation” of the data from one form to another to meet the other program’s requirements-
This ability exists for both Import and Export functions
-
-
-
Ability to see a list of lithologies, including thickness and depth in real time -
Ability to update reference files “on the fly”, rather than having to stop and add. -
Ability to link an external object to a log or a lithology within the log-
Lithology: Currently implemented as 2 user fields for each lithology that can contain any text data you might desire (file paths, URL’s, etc.) Log header: Two user data fields (text) for any kind of data you might want
